1. Who we are
Bravio is the controller for the processing of personal data described in this statement.
- Bravio, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 63397560
- Email: hello@bravio.nl
- Website: www.bravio.nl
2. What data we process
We process only the data we need to be in touch with you and to do our work:
- Contact details you give us yourself: name, email address, phone number and company name, for example when you email us or book an intro call.
- Appointment data when you book an intro call through our calendar link. That scheduling runs through Google Calendar, so Google's privacy policy applies to it as well.
- Business data during an assignment: information needed for quotes, invoices and carrying out the work we do for you.
- Technical log data from our web server (such as IP address and time of visit). We use it only for security and for resolving faults.
- Quickscan data: if you complete our online quickscan, we record your answers and outcome, together with any company name you entered, your IP address and an approximate location (country, region and town) that we derive from that IP address.
- Email report of the quickscan: if you request your outcome as a report by email, we process your email address for that purpose, together with your outcome. If you also tick that you would like practical tips, we use your address for that too, until you unsubscribe.
3. What we use it for
- To respond to your question or request (basis: legitimate interest, or your request prior to entering into a contract).
- To carry out an appointment, quote or agreement (basis: performance of the contract).
- To invoice and to meet our bookkeeping obligations (basis: legal obligation).
- To keep our website secure and available (basis: legitimate interest).
- To improve our quickscan and understand how it is used (basis: legitimate interest).
- To send you your quickscan outcome by email when you ask for it (basis: your request).
- To send you practical tips now and then when you have given permission; you can unsubscribe at any time with a reply or an email to hello@bravio.nl (basis: consent).
We do not use your data for automated decision-making and not for unsolicited marketing.
4. Your clients' data during an assignment
When we build a workspace for your company, it often holds data about your clients. In that role we are the processor and you remain the controller. We set out the arrangements in a data processing agreement: what we do and do not do with that data, how it is secured, and that it stays yours.
5. Who we share data with
We never sell or rent personal data. We share only with parties we need in order to do our work:
- Our hosting provider, for running this website and client environments.
- Google, when you book an appointment through our calendar link.
- Our bookkeeper, as far as needed for the administration.
With parties that process personal data on our behalf we make written arrangements. Where a supplier is based outside the European Economic Area, we put appropriate safeguards in place, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
6. Cookies and measurement
On your first visit we ask whether you want to allow cookies. You can accept everything at once, or choose per category what you do and do not want. As long as you choose nothing everything stays off, and it stays that way if you decline.
There are three categories. Necessary is always on and stores only your cookie choice itself, for six months, so that we do not have to ask again on every visit. Statistics is Google Analytics: how many visitors read a page, which buttons get used, and how often the quickscan is started and completed. Marketing is Google Ads, which shows us which advertisement led to an enquiry.
If you decline statistics, Google Analytics still measures without cookies: we then count visits without recognising you between visits and without a profile. Google receives your IP address when measuring, which is shortened and cannot be viewed by us. We never sell or rent data.
If you arrive through an advertisement, an identifier for that advertisement sits in the address of the page. We use it to see which advertisement led to an enquiry. It disappears as soon as you leave the site and is never linked to you as a person.
You can change your choice at any time: open your cookie preferences. If anything changes in how we measure, we amend this statement first and ask for your permission again where needed.
7. How long we keep data
- Email correspondence: as long as needed for the contact or the assignment, and a maximum of 2 years after that.
- Quotes and agreements: 7 years, because of the statutory retention period for tax records.
- Server logs: a maximum of 90 days.
- Quickscan outcomes: a maximum of 24 months.
- Email address for the quickscan report: a maximum of 24 months; if you gave permission for tips, until you unsubscribe.
8. Security
We take appropriate measures to protect data: encrypted connections (HTTPS), access only for those who need it, and systems we keep up to date. Do you suspect a leak or a vulnerability? Email us straight away at hello@bravio.nl.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict the processing, to object, and to have your data transferred. Email hello@bravio.nl for that; we respond within 30 days. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
10. Changes
If the way we work changes, we amend this statement. The current version is always on this page, with the version number and start date at the top.
This is a translation of our Dutch privacy statement. Where the two differ, the Dutch text applies.
